This year, Middlebury Studio School is celebrating 15 years of nurturing creativity and building community through art. From our humble beginnings at Frog Hollow, we have grown into a vibrant creative hub where individuals of all ages can explore, learn, and connect. 

Our mission has remained steadfast — to provide a welcoming, safe, and inspiring space where the community can engage with the arts, regardless of their background or experience.

As we reflect on our journey, we’re excited by the ways our programs have expanded. This year, we welcomed Middlebury College students to the studio as part of their orientation, launched a new partnership with the Yellow House, and are working with the Better Middlebury Partnership to host lively art markets during the holidays and throughout the summer. We’ve also continued our summer camps in collaboration with the Middlebury Community Music Center and introduced new outdoor camps at Branbury Park, offering creative experiences in nature.

In our clay studio, we’ve added skill-building workshops like glazing and welcomed renowned potters for specialty instruction to serve artists working at a professional level. At the same time, we remain committed to beginners, ensuring that everyone—from novice to expert—can find their place here.

As we look ahead, we are committed to honoring our legacy while adapting to the needs of the community. We need your support to make our programs possible.
