About Us

Combining art and education since 2009

Middlebury Studio School is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.

Our Story

Middlebury Studio School (MSS) fosters community engagement and creative growth in the visual arts through quality instruction. MSS was founded in 2009 by former staff, instructors, and friends of Frog Hollow Craft Center when it closed in Middlebury, Vermont.

Classes and workshops are offered year-round in clay, fine arts and various other crafts. MSS is run by a working board committed to serving the greatest diversity of students, out of our belief that everyone should have the opportunity for self-expression and lifelong learning.
