NEW! Hand Building Workshop: Berry Box

Instructor: Grace Moulton

Get ready for berry picking season and create your own custom hand built berry box! Using slab building methods to construct the form,  participants will be guided through the process, from building the form, using a template, to refining pieces and cleaning up seams.

During the second day, students will have an opportunity to explore an array of surface design techniques to add a sense of personal style. Participants will add color and decorate their pieces with slips, and a staff member will glaze pieces in a clear glaze. Finished pieces will be for more than just berries, and may serve as a colander for a variety of fresh produce. Clay & Materials Included/All levels, some hand building experience is helpful but not necessary.
