Our response to COVID-19
The studio safety plan will change based on the Governor’s COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Middlebury Studio School COVID-19 Safety Plan
Thank you for helping us keep our community safe! Following State and CDC recommendations, MSS has updated our COVID policy. This policy is subject to change with current guidance:
-We are no longer requiring adults or children to wear masks. All students and teachers are welcome to wear masks if they prefer.
-There may be individual classes for which masks will still be required, so please be prepared to wear a mask if requested. Students will be notified of this expectation when they register for a class.
– Please do not come to the studio if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, even if you have been vaccinated.
– MSS is requiring all staff and instructors to be vaccinated. We thank you for taking all available precautions to protect our community as well.
-We are still waiving our cancellation policy due to concerns over COVID-19. You will be reimbursed if you cancel at any time.
-MSS provides masks and hand sanitizer for anyone who may need them, and has installed HEPA air filtration systems at both locations.
This policy will change as recommendations evolve.
As a precaution:
If you feel sick and/or have any of the following symptoms (fever of 100.4 degrees or greater, cough, shortness of breath, chills/shaking from chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell), please stay home! If you have been diagnosed with COVID 19 in the last 10 days, please stay home until you have a negative COVID 19 test.
If you have been exposed to someone who is currently diagnosed with COVID-19, you need to stay home. If you are unvaccinated and experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have had possible exposure with anyone with COVID-19 within the past 5 days, please take necessary precautions.
